MASHとはサンフランシスコを拠点としているフォトグラファー・フィルマーのGABE MORFORDとMIKE MARTINが中心となり、活動しているピストバイクチーム。2007年に発売された「MASH DVD＆BOOK」は発表前からライダー達の個性的でパワフルなライディングと革新的でスリリングなカメラワークが世界中から注目を集め、更にHUFやSTUSSYとのコラボレーションも大きな話題を呼んだ。本編に登場するゲストライダーはプロスケーターでもあるJOHN IGEIやJOVANTAE TURNERなどを迎え、より話題性のある作品となった。そして世界各国で行われたプレミア試写会ではMASHライダー達も参加し大成功をおさめ、世界中のピストバイクカルチャーに新たな風を巻き起こした。その後、あのツールドフランス7連覇の伝説を持つランス・アームストロングをゲストライダーとして迎えたオースティンツアーの映像は、YouTubeで公開され世界中で反響を呼んだ。
