Common Magazineは2006年に創刊された、「東北のストリートカルチャーを独自の視点からドキュメントする」フリーペーパーです。
世界に誇る東北出身のアーティストをCOMMON-SENSE(常識に)！
現在、日本国内においても今まで「非常識」なとらえられ方をすることもあったストリートカルチャーが「常識的」、「一般的」になりつつあります。そんな中、仙台、広くは東北においても世界と対等に渡り合うアーティストが多数存在します。本誌「CommonMagazine」ではそんなアーティスト達を毎号「HUMAN REPORT」としてピックアップ・紹介し、東北のCOMMON-SENSE（常識）として読者に知ってもらい、世界の各都市と比較しても遜色ない独自のカルチャーを創り上げる事を目標にしています。
デザイン・企画にこだわり、本誌を一つの『作品』と考える。
情報誌よりも長く手元に置いてもらえる、コレクションしたくなるアートブックをテーマに各ページデザインや取扱う企画にもこだわりを持ち、毎号を一つの「作品」と捉え、編集・発行しています。

Now, Sendai and the Tohoku area are filled with local yet world-class artists.In every issue, COMMON puts a spotlight on these artists in the “HUMAN REPORT” feature.It also introduces the local street scene as “common sense,” being just as significant but distinctly unique from Japan’s bigger central metropolis.
