「アーティスト発の、決して閉鎖的にならないメディア」をコンセプトに、毎号キュレーターが変わり、そのキュレーターのセレクトによって、登場する作家、コンセプトも様々に変化してゆくというアートブック YELLO（ィエロゥ）。

本誌自体のコンセプトも非常に面白く気になります。以下はサイトに記載されている説明。

3ヶ月に一度リリースされるこの『YELLO』というアート・ブックは、毎号キュレーターが変わっていきます。 キュレーターのセレクトによって、登場する作家はもちろん、コンセプトも様々に変化してゆくでしょう。 そして何よりも大事なことの一つは、「アーティスト発信」ということです。作家が、自分の作品をリリースすることを、自分自身で演出するのです。 そして、このアート・ブックのコンセプトが、この日本から発信されるということも忘れてはなりません。

YELLO is a new kind of media: made by artists, but open to all. YELLO is an art book that will be published once every three months, with a different artist curating every issue. The content and concept of each issue will depend on the curator. The most important feature of the book is that it originates with the artists. The artists themselves manage how they release their own work. We also must not forget that the concept of this book originates here in Japan.

芸術は、日々のライフワークの中での想像の産物であるべきだし、
それはごく自然に生み出されるものです。 「作品を発表する場」が決まってからそこに向けて制作する作品とはまた違った、 荒々しい生の表現を記録しておくための定期的な発表の場所。 何かが起こって、自分や、自分の回りにいる人達が幸せになる日をただ待っているのは、僕は嫌なのです。 僕は、自分のつくる芸術をたくさんの人々に見てほしい。僕の今の年齢と経験値でつくってきた 芸術や言葉、その他全てを現時点の記録として残していきたい。 そのために、強力で魅力的な芸術をつくる人達と、始めます。 そしてこの本(メディア)が、「アート」というある意味とても不思議な存在を、音楽その他の 優れたカルチャーと同等に生活の中で生きられるようにすることを願って。

Art is a product of our imagination in our daily lives and work, and it is something that is generated naturally. This book will be a regular chance to record rough and raw expressions, which are different from the pieces that we start producing after we already know how they will be displayed. I don’t like just waiting around for something to happen to make myself and those around me happy. I want lots of people to see the art I make. I want to leave a record of now: of my words, the art that I have made at my current age and experience level, and everything else. That is why I am starting this with people who make intense and intriguing art. And I hope this book will allow that mysterious presence we know as “art” to live in our lives in the same way that music and other distinguished forms of culture do.
