■　Please tell us the number one exciting hill that you challenged in San Francisco.

Fillmore has a bad rap. Massan took some of the biggest in the film. Clipper from the top, and california from the top mid day. His riding inspires us all. It has been cool to see other kids making videos, and seeing their riding style completely lifted from massan's approach. It's very obvious to watch, and I hope he sees it as a head nod, and not a rip. Inspiring generations to come.

□　SFでボムした1番ヤバイ坂を教えて下さい。

Fillmoreはかなりヤバイ。フィルムの中で撮ったデカイ坂はほとんどMassanが制覇した。ClipperからCaliforniaまで、彼の乗り方には毎回みんな影響される。近くにいた子供たちも影響され、Massanに似たようなスタイルで乗っているところをビデオ撮影していた姿は面白かった。明らかに彼を真似しているのはわかる。これはすごく良いことだとMassanには理解してもらいたい。若い世代に影響と夢を与えているから。

■　The film started with the hill of Downtown, and went through twin peaks,Victorian houses, Golden Gate Park, and the bridge, which are all popular sightseeing destinations of San Francisco. Did you add these places to show everyone a glimpse of San Francisco?

The film covers most all of sf, We use the whole city in our day to day. Commuting, working, riding and racing. Some locations came off more scenic then others. We wanted the viewer to watch the video, and want to come ride in sf, so we hope we pulled that off.

□　本編ではDowntownの坂から始まってツインピークスやヴィクトリアハウスやゴールデンゲートパーク、ブリッジ、などなどSF観光名所的な映像が入っているんですが、それは少しSFをアピールするために入れたんですか？

フィルムの中は全部サンフランシスコ。通勤中、働いている時、バイクに乗っている時、レースをしている時に見るサンフランシスコを使いたかったんだ。中にはちょっと風景っぽくなっちゃった場面もあるけど、僕たちの目的はみんながこのビデオを見て「サンフランシスコで乗ってみたいな」と感じてもらいたかったのが最大の理由。

■　If the fix crashes with that velocity, there sure wouldn't be anything left but parts of it. During the three years of filming, can you tell us the number of fix that were destroyed?

Demarco went through the most bikes in the last 3 years. He broke a khs flight, a kalavinka, and gabes pinerello. Andy broke a samson, igei broke a giro, I broke a bianchi concept, james broke 4 steel forks, emi broke 1 carbon fork, we all broke plenty of toe clips, straps, seats, wheels, bent bars, a mountain of tires, even some helmets. Like a skateboard, you go through bike parts. Most products are not made for this kind of abuse. It's the price you pay to play.

□　あのスピードだとクラッシュしたらFixはひとたまりもないと思うんですが、今回の3年にも及ぶ撮影の中で何台ぐらいFixをダメにしましたか？

この3年間でDemarcoが一番バイクを壊したよ。彼がダメにしたバイクはKHS flite、Kalavinka、それとGabeのPinerello。Andyはsamson、Igeiはgiro、僕はビアンキコンセプト、Jamesはスチールフォーク４つ、それとEmiはカーボンフォーク１つ。 みんなトウクリップ、ストラップ、シート、ホイール、ベントバー、タイヤの山、ヘルメットまでぶっ壊したよ。スケートボードがダメになるように、バイクのパーツも同じようにダメになる。殆どの商品はこんな激しいことするために作られたわけじゃないし。遊ぶためにはこれぐらいは予想しておかないと。

■　We've noticed that both riders and filmers are very creative. Please name all the members that have participated in this film. Also, can you please give us every detail in making this film work?

Everyone in the group has diverse interests. We all contributed to the end project. Gabe and myself filmed and shot photos for the book. James, demarco, andy and dirt also have photos in the book. Massan takes incredible photos, ben weiner designed the logo, and the book's feel. Garrett layed out all the book and set all the type. Andy and jonathan were involved in some of the writing, justin and garrett wrote the into. Jonathan built the web site with gary from studio4nine, ben and garrett also designed most of the soft goods we produced to promote the project.

□　ライダーもフィルマーもみんなそれぞれクリエイティブな一面も持っていると思うんですが、今回のDVD製作に携わった人や製作の流れなんかを詳しく教えて下さい。

みんなそれぞれ色んな趣味をもってる。プロジェクトの最後はみんな参加しました。Gabeと僕は撮影、それと本のために写真を撮った。James、Ｄemarco、AndyとDirtも同じく写真を撮って本に載せた。Massanは本当に素晴らしい写真を撮るし、Ben Weiner はロゴと本をデザインした。Garrettは本のレイアウト、そしてすべてのタイプを設定してくれた。AndyとJonathanは所々の記述に参加したし、JustinとGarrettはイントロを書いてくれた。Jonathanはstudio4nineのGaryとウェブ制作をし、BenとGarrettもプロジェクトのプロモーショングッズをデザインしてくれました。
