■　Although there are few more world premieres left, please describe any personal changes or insights you have experienced after the San Francisco,Los Angeles, New York, and Japan premieres?

The overall impression is how no matter what city we rolled into, there was a huge sense of community there tied to bikes, and people sharing this connection. Our friend in chicago put it this way. He saw what we were doing over the years, and how that differed from the velo circuit of friends. He compared it to how he used to go skate this ditch as a kid, and there would always be a few other kids there. That was the same thing. Kids finding each other through an outlet they shared respect for. Then he saw Chicago's tricks and drinks night getting more popular, and that tied it together. People coming together for a common interest.

□　まだ残ってんだけどSan Francisco/Los Angeles/New York/Japanとワールドプレミアが終わって身辺の変化ってありました？

全面的な印象はどの場所に行っても巨大な連帯感を感じたこと。バイクという一つの世界を共有する仲間。シカゴにいる友達は僕たちがしていることを見ていて、Veloサーキットの友達とは違うと感じたらしい。ガキの頃によくスケートしに行った溝には必ず他のやつらがいた。それとまったく同じこと。子供は自分と同じ趣味のやつらとつるむ。その後、彼はシカゴのトリックやお酒を飲みにいくことが流行りだしたことでわかったのが、人は共通の趣味で繋がるということ。

■　Compare to last year's BFF, did you feel any change of fix culture within each cities?

Yea, huge strides since 2005. The first video we showed at bff in 05 was a 30 minute video that was a work in progress. The turnout was good, lots of friends from the messenger community, and some new faces also. We made a new 30 minute video for bff in 06. The turnouts were massive. In one year there was proof that tons of kids had got on bikes in the previous 11 months. We saw this in la, tokyo for sure. I think europe is feeling this happening this year. We look forward to what the future brings.

□　去年のBFFの時と比べて各都市でのFixカルチャーの変化って肌で感じましたか？

2005年に比べるとかなりの違い。2005年にBFFで初めて見せた30分ビデオはまだまだ未完成のものだった。その時の集まりはメッセンジャー・コミュニティーからの友達が多く、中には知らない人も数人。2006年のBFFにもまた新しい30分ビデオを作って、その時の集まりはもの凄かった。たった一年で大勢の子供たちがバイクに乗ったという証拠。LAでも東京でも同じ結果だった。ヨーロッパはどちらかというと今年変化が現れた感じ。どんな未来が待っているか楽しみだよ。

■　In the riders'scenes, were there any particular parts in the film that the riders'liked the best?

In the big picture, I think the taping process was good for everyone's riding skill. To be able to watch each other ride, how they use the bike on the street, the lines they see, the routes they take all helped the quality of riding improve. We all experienced the same thing through this process.

□　ライダーパートの中でライダー達の中でベストパートってありますか？

この撮影プロセスはみんなのスキルに役立ったと思う。互いに乗っている姿を見て、ストリートでどんな風にバイクを使っているのか、どんなラインを見ているのか、どのルートを通るのかとかすべて乗車の質を上げている。僕たちみんなこのプロセスを通じて同じものを経験したと思う。

■　While filming were there any happenings or funny stories that you can share with us?

We feel like we kept in under control for the most part. A few major injuries, some broken bikes. We all learned a ton in the process, both about each other, and this common thread of time spent on the bike. There are a lot of inside jokes in the video, and I will always appreciate the insider looking out quality of the project, and at the same time am grateful for the intensely positive feedback we have all received worldwide from the end product/project.

□　撮影していて一番おもしろかった事やエピソードなんか教えて欲しいです。

まぁ、結構コントロールできていた方だと思う。 少数の大怪我といくつかダメになったバイク。このプロセスのおかげでお互いのこと、そしてバイクという僕たちの共通点のことをもっと学んだ。ビデオの中には僕たちにしかわからないジョークが多いです。仲間で素晴らしい作品を作るために協力しあえたから本当によかった。そして何よりも世界中のみんなからの商品とプロジェクトに対するポジティブな感想にはすごく感謝しています。
